Mauy Thai

 

 

Kelvin “The Axeman” Bass developed an interest in Martial Arts in 1987 at the age of 14. Beginning in the art of Tae-Kwon-Do, Kelvin spent years competing in several regional and national championships.

 

In 1999, Kelvin moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. During his time in Florida, he had an opportunity to train and assist Kru Larry Borden of Hammer Gym. It was in Florida where Kelvin was able to hone the skills that made him the instructor he is today. Kelvin was a member of Team Popovitch at the BJJ Center in Ft. Lauderdale where he taught Muay Thai Kickboxing. In 2010 he moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, and began teaching Muay Thai at Port City Sports Performance. His vision is to inspire, motivate and guide every individual that trains to a higher level. With 23 years of experience, he can help you achieve your goal!
