I have spent the last 15 years of my life teaching and
coaching kids. It has been my passion in life, and has been
a very rewarding experience. I believe that athletics can
build character in a way that nothing else in life can.
I have enjoyed winning, however, what I enjoy more is seeing
athletes overcome adversity and self doubt on their way
to achieving their goals. That is what life is all about.
My philosophy is that “anything worth having is worth working
for”. Athletics has changed my whole way of thinking, and
my approach to life. I enjoy building the character of kids,
and passing this way of thinking on to them. I have an 8
year old son who is the center of my life, and I have used
athletics, on many occasions, as a means of building his
character. Opening this facility is very exciting to me,
since I will be able to work with kids of all ages, regardless
of what school they attended. I am surrounded by great people
who have the kids’ best interests at heart, which makes
it even more enjoyable.
